The Can:DoGroup is the umbrella organisation that encompasses South Australia’s two oldest charitable service providers, Can:Do 4Kids, Townsend House and Deaf Can:Do, The Royal South Australian Deaf Society. The Group also incorporates an Audiology business, Can:Do Hearing whose profits directly contribute to Can:Do 4Kids and Deaf Can:Do services.
VOLUNTEERS ARE IMPORTANT TO US
Volunteers form an integral part of our organisation and are undoubtedly one of our most treasured assets.
Volunteers' unwavering passion, dedication and boundless energy contribute significantly to a positive working environment for all to enjoy.
The donation of their time and expertise also allows Can:DoGroup to reduce its administrative costs and channel a greater proportion of available fundraising dollars into children's services, making a real difference out in the community.
THE CHARITY COLLECTORS role is to...
Be willing to assist us DURING THE MONTH OF MARCH, flexible to suit.
Hand out thank you stickers for our generous donors on the day and at your designated collection point.
Wear one of our branded t-shirts and identification badge for the duration of your shift.
Volunteers will be allocated a set destination in either Adelaide city centre or in the metropolitan area and given a branded Can:Do 4Kids Collection container for donations. A full briefing will be provided prior to accepting a shift. Of course you will be required to smile and be friendly for people to be willing to donate. As a representative of Can:Do 4Kids this is a must.
