Can:Do Hearing is the only not-for profit audiology service in South Australia.  We are a full service audiology clinic belonging to the Can:Do Group which encompasses South Australia’s two oldest charitable service providers, Can:Do 4Kids, Townsend House and Deaf Can:Do, The Royal South Australian Deaf Society.

All applicants must be, or eligible to be, full Members of Audiology Australia

 

Our ideal candidate should:

  • Hold a Master’s Degree in Audiology from a recognised university;
  • Have an intimate knowledge of hearing aids and rehabilitation options;
  • Be able to perform hearing assessments on adults and make appropriate recommendations;
  • Be able to handle complex case management;
  • Be confident in writing reports and communicating with GPs and ENTs;
  • Understand the concepts in providing (or have experience in providing) aural rehabilitation programs;
  • Have excellent communication skills and be a team player.

This is a part-time role, based on 0.6 FTE (negotiable for the right candidate), with an anticipated contract length of between 9 and 12 months.

 

Total remuneration package:-

 

An attractive remuneration package consistent with qualifications and experience will be negotiated with the successful applicant. In addition to base salary you are able to enjoy salary packaging up to $15,900 of your salary, increasing your take-home pay by approximately $5,000 per annum.
