Can:Do Group encompasses South Australia’s two oldest charitable service providers, Can:Do 4Kids, Townsend House and Deaf Can:Do, The Royal South Australian Deaf Society.

Position Overview:


The role of Claiming & Administration Officer focus on the claiming of services as well as debtor management, purchasing and other administrative tasks that provides support to the therapy teams. This ensures seamless and efficient processes for clients and families, from on-boarding, through to the delivery of services.


The FTE for these roles is flexible and will be negotiated upon candidate selection.

  • Must be prepared to work flexibly across programs should the need arise, at any work-site;
  • Must be willing to work out of hours including, evenings and weekends as required;
  • Current South Australian Driver’s Licence required;
  • Access to own vehicle with appropriate insurance when Can:Do Groups vehicles are not available;
  • Must have or be prepared to undertake appropriate Worker Screening check;
  • Must be prepared to undertake any compulsory training;
  • Ability to work autonomously;
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times in relation to all stake holders;
  • Must wear supplied uniform at all times.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Understanding of the not for profit sector;
  • Experience of working within an NDIS environment;
  • Understanding of allied health and/or an understanding of audiology services (desirable not essential);
  • Able to quickly learn non-standard customer service relationship systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel;
  • Attention to detail with capacity to maintain accurate records and organised filing systems.

Total remuneration package:-


The salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. In addition to base salary you are able to enjoy generous salary packaging including meal and entertainment expenses, accommodation and venue hire and additional superannuation contributions.


Other benefits include up to 2 days per annum extra leave (pro-rated) at Christmas.
